HOW TO CORRECT PROBLEMS IN THE MACHINE

Problem
The machine will not run.
The machine will not start.
The brush warning light illuminates.
The machine is vibrating excessively.
Machine stalls or trips breakers.

Cause
The machine may not have any power.
The power cord may be damaged.
The pad is worn or dirty.
The machine may have no power.
The carbon brushes need replacing.
The pad is not installed correctly.
The pad is worn or damaged.
The pad is defective.
Amperage exceeding 15amp rating of the
machine.
Action
Make sure the machine is connected to the
correct voltage and frequency and that all
connections are tight or,
Make sure the machine is plugged in.
Contact an authorized service person
Clean the pad. If the pad is worn, replace it.
Make sure the machine is connected to the

Remove the pad. Install the pad correctly.
Center the pad properly.
Install a new pad.
Inspect and install a new pad.
Adjust the wheel height to lower the average
amperage in the application between
9-13 amps. See Detail 1 below.

Move wheel up to
increase amps.
Neutral wheel position
Move wheel down to
decrease amps.
