Inserting/changing batteries

In order to use the scales, you will need 3 batteries of type LR03 (AAA), 1.5 V (included).
The battery compartment is located on the underside of the device.
1. Slide off the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert the batteries as shown on the base of the battery compartment. Pay attention
to the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Put the battery compartment cover back in place.
As soon as power is supplied to the scale, the display is illuminated for approx.
5 seconds and all symbols are displayed.
4. First, briefly step onto the middle of the weighing surface to calibrate the scale. As
soon as the display shows „0.0", calibration is complete.
This calibration must be performed after each battery change.
Notes on changing the battery:
‚ A change of batteries becomes necessary when "LO" appears on the
display, or when nothing at all is displayed.
‚ Only use the type of battery that is specified in the "Technical Data".
‚ Always change all batteries at the same time.
‚ Dispose of batteries in an environmentally appropriate way (see
"Disposal")
Choosing the unit of measurement
When the scales are delivered, the unit of measurement is set to "kg" as standard.
However, the measurement can also be displayed in the English unit of measure „lb"
(pounds).
− Use the kg/lb button on the back of the scale to set the desired unit of measure.
Pay attention to the display indicator.
Enabling/disabling the reminder function
After it is enabled, the reminder function reminds you every 24 hours to weigh daily.
− Press the 24H/Alarm button to turn the reminder function on or off. Once the
function is enabled, a small alarm symbol appears on the display.
24 hours after it is enabled, you will hear a beep to remind you to weigh. The beep
stops automatically after approx. 25 seconds or when you stand on the scale to weigh.
The reminder function remains active until you turn it off again.
