Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, check if you can fi x the problem yourself fi rst.
If these steps do not solve the problem, contact customer service.
Do not try to repair an electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device is not
working. The operat-
ing light (6) does not
light up.
The fuse in the fuse
box is triggered.
During use, an un-
pleasant odour can
be detected.

Disposal

Dispose of packaging materials in an environmentally sound way and take recy-
clables to collection facilities.
This device is subject to European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of this device as normal house-
hold waste, but through an offi cially approved disposal business according to
environmental regulations.

Possible cause
The power plug is not proper-
ly plugged into the socket.
The socket is defective.
There is no mains voltage.
Too many devices connected
to the same circuit.
On fi rst use.
Remedying
Plug in the power plug.
Try another outlet.
Check the fuse of the mains
connection.
Reduce the number of devices
in the circuit.
An odour can often occur
when using new devices
for the fi rst time. The smell
should disappear after the
device has been used several
times.
