Do not point the laser beam towards mirrors or other reflecting surfaces. The uncontrolled, deflected
beam could hit persons or animals.
Never operate the laser unattended.
If possible, restrict the range of radiation by using screens or partitions.
Do not use the laser at eye level.
Caution - if you use any other controls or employ other procedures than those specified in these operating
instructions, you risk the exposure to hazardous radiation.
This product is equipped with a class 2 laser according to EN 60 825-1. The device is delivered with laser
warning labels in different languages. If the laser warning label is not in your local language, please attach
the appropriate label on the laser.

The device should not be operated immediately after it has been taken from a cold to a warm environ-
ment. Condensation can destroy the device. If the lens is steamed up, measured results can be faulty.
Allow the product to reach room temperature before using it.
If you have reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, switch off the device and secure
it against inadvertent operation. Reasons to assume that safe operation is no longer possible are the
following:
- the product shows visible damage,
- the device no longer functions, or
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time,
- the product was exposed to heave stress during transport.
The device is not a toy. Keep it away from children and pets!
In commercial facilities, the regulations for the prevention of accidents as laid down by the professional
trade association for electrical equipment and devices must be observed. In schools, training facilities,
hobby and self-help-workshops, the operation of electric devices is to be supervising by trained personnel.
Maintenance, service and repair work may only be carried out by a specialist/specialised workshop.
