Safety instructions and hazard warnings
This product is not a toy, it is not suitable for children. Keep electrical devices out of the reach of
children. Children cannot judge the dangers involved when handling electrical devices. Special
attention must be paid if children are present, as children might try to insert objects into the devi-
ce. There is the risk of a fatal electric shock.
Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets, vases or
plants, in the direct vicinity of the system. Liquids could seep into the casing and in doing so
impair the electrical safety of the device. There is furthermore a high risk of fire or of a life-threa-
tening electric shock. If this is the case, de-energize the respective socket (e.g. switch off circuit
breaker) and only then pull the plug-in mains unit from the socket. Disconnect all cables from the
device. Afterwards, the product must no longer be used; take it to a specialist workshop.
Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet or damp. There is a risk of a fatal electric
shock.
Never pull on the power cable to disconnect from the mains socket; only pull on the specially
designed grips on the mains plug.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. In the hands of children, plastic foil and/or bags and
polystyrene parts etc. can turn into dangerous toys.
When installing the device, make sure that the mains cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
If the power cable is damaged, do not touch it. First of all, de-energize the corresponding mains socket (e.g. via
the respective circuit-breaker) and afterwards carefully pull the mains plug from the socket. Separate the mains
cable from the device and use a new mains cable. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
Always disconnect the plug from the power socket:
- before cleaning the device
- in case of thunderstorms
- if you won't use the device for a longer time
The appliance should always be used in a well ventilated area.
All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this device must be trained and qualified
correspondingly and observe these operating instructions.
On industrial sites the accident prevention regulations of the association of the industrial workers' society for
electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.

Maintenance, nettoyage et élimination des éléments usés

le produit a été stocké durant une période prolongée dans des conditions défavorables ou
•
l'appareil a été soumis à de sévères contraintes durant son transport.
Avant de procéder au nettoyage ou à l'entretien du lecteur de CD, tenez impérativement compte des con-
signes de sécurité suivantes :
L'ouverture des caches et le démontage des pièces risquent de mettre à nu des pièces
sous tension.
Avant tout entretien ou réparation, il convient donc de déconnecter l'appareil de toutes
les sources de tension.
Les condensateurs montés dans l'appareil peuvent être encore chargés même après
avoir déconnecté l'appareil de toutes les sources de tension.
Les réparations doivent uniquement être effectuées par un technicien spécialisé connais-
sant parfaitement les risques potentiels encourus et les prescriptions spécifiques en
vigueur.
L'appareil ne nécessite aucun entretien. Pour le nettoyage extérieur, utilisez uniquement un chiffon sec et doux
ou un pinceau.
N'utilisez en aucun cas de nettoyants agressifs ou de solutions chimiques car ils pourraient endommager la sur-
face du boîtier.
Conseils pour la manipulation des CD:
•
Ne saisissez les CD que par les bords. Vous évitez ainsi de lais-
ser des empreintes de doigts ou des impuretés sur la surface du
CD.
•
Ne saisissez vos CD que les mains propres.
•
S'il devait cependant arriver qu'un CD soit sali, essuyez-le à
l'aide d'un chiffon doux non pelucheux du centre vers l'exté-
rieur. Évitez tout mouvement circulaire en nettoyant le CD.
N'utilisez pas de dissolvant.
•
En cas d'encrassement plus important, il est possible d'utiliser
un kit de nettoyage de CD disponible dans le commerce (n'utili-
sez pas ceux destinés aux disques vinyle) en suivant le mode
d'emploi.
•
Ne coller pas d'autocollants ou autres.
•
Après utilisation, conservez vos CD dans les pochettes four-
nies.
•
Évitez de stocker les CD à un endroit exposé directement au
soleil, à la poussière et à l'humidité.
Élimination
Il convient de procéder à l'élimination du produit au terme de sa durée de vie conformément aux
prescriptions légales en vigueur.
