INSTALL THE UPPER HANDLE

(See Figure 2)
■ Align the holes in the middle handle (4)
and the upper handle (3).
■ Put the bolts (14) through the holes.
■ Tighten the handle knobs (13) onto the
bolts.
■ Do the same operation on the other
side.

INSTALL THE CHUTE DEFLECTOR

(See Figure 3)
Replace with:
■ Align the tab (17) on the chute onto the
slot (18) on the chute deflector (1) on
one side.
■ Once you have engaged one tab (17) on
one slot (18) push until you hear a click.
Repeat on other side.
■ Adjust the chute deflector (1) to engage
teeth on the back of the chute
■ Make sure that the tabs (17) engage the
slots (18) on the two sides.
■ Make sure that the posts (19) engage
the holes (16) on the two sides.
INSTALL THE CHUTE CONTROL ROD
(See Figure 4-5)
■ Align the holes in the upper chute
control rod (20) and lower chute control
rod (21).
■ Put the hitch pin (22) through the holes.
■ Align the arrows in the discharge chute
(9) and snow thrower deck. Make sure
the discharge chute (9) faces forward.
■ Put the end of the chute control rod
(12) straight through the hole (23) in the
bracket. Keep the grip handle down.
■ Push the chute control rod (12) into the
hole (23) behind the deck.
■ Turn the grip handle left and right to
make sure that the discharge chute (9)

moves in the same direction.
INSTALL THE BATTERY PACK
(See Figure 6)
■ If the battery pack or charger is
damaged, replace the battery pack or
the charger.
■ Stop the machine and wait until the
engine stops before you install or
remove the battery pack.
■ Read, know, and do the instructions in
the battery and charger manual.
■ Open the battery door.
■ Align the lift ribs on the battery pack
(24) with the grooves in the battery
compartment (5).
■ Push the battery pack (24) into the
battery compartment (5) until the battery
pack locks into place.
■ When you hear a click, the battery pack
(24) is installed.
■ Close the battery door.
REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK
(See Figure 6)
■ Open the battery door.
■ Push and hold the battery release
button.
■ Remove the battery pack (24) from the
machine.
OPERATION
Wear eye protection during operation.

COLD WEATHER OPERATION

The safe battery operation temperature
ranges from 1°F (-17°C) to 113°F (45°C).
