Step 3: Fix the repeater to the wall
A moulded piece in the recess of the backplate (point 4 Figure 3) serves as an anti-
removal wall contact. This moulded piece is fixed to the wall with a screw.
Note
If this is not done, tamper detection for the wall is deactivated.
If the moulded piece is not fixed to the wall, the repeater will lose its certification for
security level 2.
Danger
 Place the repeater on the wall and align it vertically. Mark the three fixing points.
 Drill the holes in the wall to fit the diameter of the screw anchors. Insert the screw anchors
supplied, in the holes.
 Insert the supplied screws through the repeater's fixing holes. Turn the screws in the screw
anchors. Do not tighten the screws yet. Vertically align the RF repeater once more.
Now tighten the screws.
Step 4: Power supply
 Insert the batteries into the holder, ensuring the polarity is correct.
 Connect the appropriate power supply unit.
Step 5: Pair the repeater with the alarm panel
 If this has not been done already, switch the alarm panel on.
 Place the repeater next to the alarm panel or within range of the alarm panel with which it
will communicate.
 Select:
Installer mode -> Components -> RF repeater > Add/remove > RF repeater X
 You will receive the message "Activate the tamper contact of the repeater". Press the
tamper switch (see Fig. 1)
