Manual mode icon with reset
arrow
The reset arrow remains on the
display until a new baseline is set;
depending on the concentration of
refrigerant this may be up to a few
seconds. It is best to wait for the
arrow to clear before proceeding.
Sensitivtiy level (Hi/Med/Low) can-
not be changed while in Manual
mode. Whatever the level chosen
when in Automatic mode will be
retained when switching to Manual
mode. It is possible to use Manual
mode in any level, but the selection
must first be done in Automatic
mode, and the unit then switched
to Manual mode.
In Automatic mode, once the
source of the leak is found, the
detector will not alarm again until
the probe is moved away from the
source (reset to maximum sensi-
tivity) and back again. In Manual
mode, once the source of the leak
is found, the detector will conti-
nue to alarm at the source until
the Sensitivity button is pressed.
The unit can be reset to maximum
sensitivity by moving the probe to
fresh air, and pressing the Sensiti-
vity button again to reset.
