4. Start-up

The actuator plate is ready for operation if it has been correctly installed and connect-
ed to the power supply.

5. Sensor control basics

The actuator plate A2 for urinals automatically triggers the flushing operation via
infrared presence detection (see 1.4 Presence detection).
The mains version of the actuator plate has a special mode for small rooms (see 6.2
Deactivating/activating the presence detection). If the presence detection is deacti-
vated, you can trigger the flush function by holding your hand in front of the control

Automatic triggering of the main flush

The main flush is automatically triggered
if a person who has been in the detection
range for longer than 5 seconds moves
away from the urinal.

Automatic triggering of the pre-flush

The pre-flush - if activated - is automat-
ically triggered if a person enters the
detection range.
