Problem
When powered via 12 V/24 V
car power socket:
The ignition is on.
The device is not working.
The LEDs do not light up.
The display shows an error
code.
Error code
Possible cause
E0
The sensor circuit is interrupted
or short-circuited.
E1
Input voltage too low.
E2
Problem with the fan.
E3
The compressor tripped the
self-protection.
E4
The compressor is protected
against unusual speeds.
E5
Display shows overheating
warning.
Possible cause
The car power socket is
dirty. This will cause a poor
electrical contact.
The fuse has blown.
The vehicle's fuse is blown.
See table "Error codes".
Correction
Connect or replace the sensor.
Check the battery voltage or change the
setting of the battery monitor.
Check if the fan is blocked or short-
circuited.
Disconnect the device from power for
30 minutes, then switch the device on
again.
Change the operating mode of the device.
Place the device in a well ventilated
location.
Correction
If the plug in the car power
socket becomes very warm,
clean the car power socket.
Ensure the plug is inserted
fully.
Replace the fuse.
Replace the fuse.

Have the device repaired by
an authorised service centre.
