Congratulations on purchasing the All-terrain kit. This manual is additional to the Hamax Outback Multifunctional Child Carrier
user manual. Please read the instructions carefully before assembling or using the Hamax Outback. We wish you and your children

• Important – Keep these instructions for future reference
• This product complies to the European and American standards for child bicycle trailers and
strollers (EN 15918, EN 1888-3:2024, ASTM F1975 and ASTM F833).
• FALL HAZARD from tip over. Before running, jogging or walking fast, a separate jogging wheel must
be mounted.
• FALL HAZARD - Wheel can detach and cause tip over. Pull on wheel to assure it is securely
attached.
• A child is sharing your sporting activity: take extra care, particularly over kerbs, steps, rough
ground and obstacles.
• Do not use this product for running/jogging or skating until the child is 9 months old.
• This product is not suitable for ice skating.
• Do not use a baby seat with the trailer for sport activities.
• For running/jogging or skating the seat unit shall be always adjusted in the most upright position.
• During sport activities, it is advised to have children wear protective equipment, like a helmet.
• When jogging or skating, the child(ren) in the trailer need(s) to be more warmly clothed than the
carer and shall be protected from rain or UV.
• It is advised that the carer wears reflective vest or clothing when moving in or near traffic.
• Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
• Always use the wrist strap when using the jogger.
• Always test the hand brake after installation before using the jogger.
• The hand brake can be used to reduce the speed of the vehicle, not suitable for a direct full stop.
GETTING STARTED - INSTALLATION

[2] Mounting the hand brake
• Attaching and removing the all-terrain wheel is done similar to the bicycle arm. Please see the main manual for details.
• You can select if you want the hand brake mounted for the left or right hand.
• Put the vinyl sticker (a) on the middle of the tube.
• Put the brake lever (b) on the sticker and fix it to the tube with the screw underneath.
• Rotate the tip (c) of the Brake lever to align the open channels.
• Pull the lever and hook the cable end in the metal ring.
• Guide the cable through the channel in the brake lever and put the cable in the knob.
