LUBRICATION
CAUTION! NEVERusea penetratingoil to lubricate the tool. Penetratingoil may act as a
solventthat will break down the grease and causethe tool to seize up.
I.
All air tools are packed in lubricantto preventcorrosionof internalpartsduring shipping
and storage.We recommendyou clean thisout beforethe firsttimeyou useyour new air
tool. Add a generousamountof air tool oil in the air inlet,and then run the tool underno
load until exhaust is clear.

Themaintenance-free d esignof thistool meansthat the daily addition of air tool oil is not
required. However,for optimumperformance,you shouldadd I or 2 drops of air tool to
the air inlet every3 months.

INSTALLATION
1. Turnoff the air compressor and disconnectthe air hosewhen changingsockets.
NOTE:Theworking torque of the impactwrench is 2,000 ft-lb.Make surethatthe nutor
bolt you are usingthe tool to tightencan withstandthe rated torque and is rated for
3,000 RPMor greater.If available, checkthe recommended torquespecifications for the nut.
Selectthe appropriatelysized I in. drive impactsocketfor the job. Only useimpact

sockets which are specificallydesignedfor usewith a impactwrench.Do not useworn or
damaged sockets.
pushand snapthe socket(not included)onto the anvil.

Attach the air hoseand turn the air compressor on.
