4.5.2 Sensors monitoring
Sensor monitoring is permanent as HCA start operating. The electronic can detect a short or a break of any of the both sensors. In this case,
the device is not able to work properly anymore, The display is indicating Error message, the failure is recorded and sent as a part of the Wmbus
telegram to be detected by the backup station.
Information on Display
The sensor failure detection needs about 12' reaction time, the code in status flag is 0001 (flag bit1 of status word data set to 1).
4.5.3 Battery monitoring
The HCA Unity 1 battery is designed to last 10 years + 2 years reserve. Beyond the 10 years operation, when the battery reaches a low level
2V2, a batlow flag is recorded to be sent as a part of the Wmbus telegram. The product keeps in operation with no special indication on display,
but we recommend the sooner as possible replacement of the HCA by a new device.
Information on Display
The information is displayed as the battery level is measured <2V2. The code in status register is 0004 (flag bit3 of status word data set to 1).
In case a the critical level 2V0 is reached after or within the 10 years operation, the error message is displayed and the product stops to work.
The device must be replaced immediately.

4.5.4 Reset monitoring
The HCA Unity 1 is able to detect a reset of product. There is not special indication on display, but the reset flag is sent as a part of the Wmbus
telegram.
The code in status register is 0020 (flag bit6 of status word data set to 1).
4.5.5 RF monitoring
The HCA Unity 1 is able to detect a RF trouble. In case the product cannot send the RF frame after several attempts a RF failure is raised. There
is not special indication on display, but the RF failure flag is sent as a part of the Wmbus telegram
The code in status register is 0008 (flag bit4 of status word data set to 1).
4.5.6 Parameters monitoring
The HCA Unity 1 is able to recognize the coherence and integrity of parameters. In case of wrong value setting or abnormal lost of any of these
critical datas an error message is recorded to be sent as a part of the Wmbus telegram. The product cannot or stops to work.
Information on Display
The information is displayed as lost of data is identified. The code in status register is 0010 (flag bit5 of status word data set to 1).
Note : Several failures can be detected together, that case the associated flags are set. Example of status register value when Batlo & Tamper are
detected : 0005
