Hood Replacement
Instructions
Steps for Replacing the Hood
WARNING: Make sure all moving parts are stopped completely and the battery pack is
removed when replacing the safety guard.
WARNING: The hood is intended for prevent thrown objects including snow to hit the
operator. Replace it when any worn indicators occur.
1.
Stop the motor, remove the battery pack and wait for all moving parts to stop

completely.
2.
Lay the snow shovel attachment on its side for hood service.
3.
Remove the five screws that are located on the attachment guard. (Fig. 1)
4.
Replace the worn hood with a new one.
5.
Tighten the screws that you removed before. Avoid over thightening the screw.
Overthigthening srew may strip plastic thread on.
