Decalcifying
Use a commercially-available decalcifi er to decalcify the device. Make sure that the de-
calcifi er is suitable for devices that emit steam. To determine the ratio of water and de-
calcifi er to be mixed as well as the duration of use, please refer to the usage instructions
of the decalcifi er.
To remove deposits on the steam nozzles, use cotton swabs soaked in rubbing alcohol.
Remove the rubbing alcohol completely with a soft, damp cloth. Dry the surface thor-
oughly.
Storage
• Wind the mains cord and the water/power cord (6) up together.
• Store the device in a clean, dry, frost-free area that is not accessible to children and
animals.

Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem

Possible cause / Solution
• Has the mains plug been inserted all the way in the socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket and check the
fuse of the mains connection.
• Is the temperature control (2) still set to 0? Set a higher
temperature.
• Is the water tank (7) too full? Pour out some of the water
(see section "After use").
• Is the temperature control (2set to a low temperature level?
Select a higher temperature level to produce steam.
• Is the water tank (7) empty? Fill the water tank (7).
• The device still has not reached the operating temperature.
Wait until the temperature control light (3) goes out.
• Is the temperature control (2set to a low temperature level?
Select a higher temperature level.
• Is the On/Off switch for the heat function of the water tank
(C) set to position
• Push the steam burst button

• At high temperatures, the generated steam is dry and al-
most invisible. This will be intensifi ed further through a high
environmental temperature. Set the temperature control
(2) to a lower temperature in order to check if the device
produces steam.
