CAUTION: hot surfaces! The soleplate of
the iron becomes very hot during use. For
this reason, only hold the device by the han-
dle during operation. Do not touch the sole-
plate during use or directly after use.
During operation with steam burst, the wa-
ter/power cord becomes very hot. Do not
touch the cord during or directly after use.
Let the device cool off completely before you
empty the water tank and/or before the device
is cleaned and put away.

Risks of injury

The plastic foils and bags pose a suffocation hazard! Children and animals must be
kept away from the packaging material.
Never attempt to iron clothing if it is being worn by someone.
Scalding hazard! Never point the steam directly at people, animals or plants.
Do not place the hot device upside down or on its side. Hot water could leak out.
Scalding hazard due to hot steam! Let the device cool off before opening the water
tank.
When ironing vertically, make sure that there is enough space around the piece of
clothing you intend to iron. Vertical ironing shall only be applied if the piece of clothing
is hanging on a coat hanger and cannot come in contact with other pieces of clothing,
objects, persons or animals.
The connected mains cord must not pose a tripping hazard. Do not leave the device
unattended when the mains cord is hanging off the ironing board, a table or similar if
children or animals are nearby. They could pull the device down with it.

Danger of electrocution

Only connect the device to a properly installed socket with protective earth contacts.
The socket must also be easily accessible after connecting so that the mains con-
nection can be quickly disconnected. The mains voltage must correspond to the
technical data of the device. Only use proper extension cords, whose technical data
correspond to those of the device.
Do not connect the device along with other consumers (with a high wattage) to a mul-
ti-socket adapter in order to prevent overloading and, if applicable, a short circuit (fi re).
