After-sales service

Please contact an after-sales ser-
vice center for Bosch products if
spare parts or after sales services
are required.
The list of Bosch wholesa-
lers in Germany, Bosch sub-
sidiaries abroad and foreign
agents is provided on the last
few pages of the operating
instructions.
Faults
Charger does not function
after switching on:
1. Set the On-Off switch (5) to "0"
(OFF).
2. Check the mains connection.
3. Check the mains fuse:
– Disconnect the mains cable
from the power supply network
and from the charger and re-
move the mains fuse holder (8).

– Replace the mains fuse by a
replacement fuse H250 2.5A
blow. A replacement
slow
fuse is provided in the fuse
holder.
–Insert the mains fuse holder
(8)
and connect the mains
cable to the charger.
– Switch on the charger.
The charger must be checked
by the after-sales service if it still
does not function.
Red LED display
1. Check polarity:
– Red clip to positive terminal
– Black clip to negative terminal
2. Check that the charging clips
are securely attached.
3. Check the rated battery voltage.
The mains fuse trips when
the unit is switched on with
depressed pushbutton
1. Set the On-Off switch (5) to "0"
(OFF).
2. Check the battery for a cell
short circuit.
3. Replace the mains fuse:
– Disconnect the mains cable
from the power supply network
and charger and remove the
mains fuse holder (8).
– Replace the mains fuse by a
replacement fuse 2.5A slow-
blow. A replacement fuse is pro-
vided in the fuse holder.
lit:
–Insert the mains fuse holder (8)
and connect the mains cable to
the charger.
Switch off the unit and then switch
back on again.
The battery may be exhaus-
ted if no faults are establis-
hed in the respective checks
(see "Charging exhausted bat-
:
teries").
