− Make sure that the ladder is suit-
able for the intended use.
− Remove all contaminates from
the ladder, e.g. wet paint, dirt, oil
or snow, before using the ladder.
− Before using a ladder while
working, you should perform a
risk assessment that accounts
for the legal regulations of the
country where it is used.
− The ladder must be installed in
the correct set up position, e.g.
correct propping angle for lean-
ing ladders (inclination angle
approx. 1 : 4), rungs and treads
level.
− The ladder must be set up on a
flat, level base that does not
move.
