● Obey the instructions of the employer and
EN
occupational health and safety regulations on
respiratory protection.
SV
● Control the dust and fumes exhausted at the air outlet
and wear a face mask during product operation to
prevent inhalation of airborne particles.
NO
2.2.6 Noise safety
DA
● Exposure to high noise levels can cause permanent
hearing loss and other problems, for example tinnitus.
It is necessary to estimate these risks and prevent
PL
noise hazards.
● Applicable procedures to reduce noise hazards can
DE
include use of sound and vibration damping materials.
● Obey the instructions of the employer and
occupational health and safety regulations on hearing
FI
protection.
● To decrease the noise, obey the instructions for use
FR
and maintenance of the product.
2.2.7 Vibration safety
NL
Exposure to vibration can cause damage to the nerves
and blood supply of the hands and arms.
● Stop the operation and seek medical attention if you
get symptoms of vibration injury during the product
operation. Symptoms are for example: discomfort,
pain, throbbing, aching, tingling, numbness, burning
sensations or stiffness.
● Hold the product with a light but stable grip. The risk
of vibration injury increases with higher grip force.
● Use warm clothes during work in cold conditions and
keep your hands warm and dry.
2.2.8 Safety instructions for pneumatic power
tools
● Air under pressure can cause serious injury.
● Do not point the air stream at yourself, against other
people, or animals.
● Stop the air supply, drain the air pressure of the hose
and disconnect the product from the air supply when
not in use, before you change accessories or do
maintenance.
● Do a check for damage and loose hoses and fittings
before use. Under pressure, a damaged or loose air
hose can move around and cause personal injury or
damage to the work area.
● When universal twist (claw) couplings are used, lock
pins must be installed. Whip-check safety cables must
8
be used to prevent malfunction of hose-to-tool or
hose-to-hose connections.
● Keep the airline behind the product and out of the
work path.
● Keep the airline away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
parts that move.
● Do not wrap the air hose around the tool as sharp
edges can pierce or crack the air hose. Carefully coil
the hose and either hang it on a hook or fasten with a
device to keep hose together when kept in storage.
● Do not exceed the maximum 8.6 bar (125 PSI) rating.
● Do not lift or transport the product by the airline.
2.2.9 Safety instructions for sanders
● Failure of the work piece, accessories or the product it
self can become high-velocity projectiles.
● Use protective gloves. The product can cause cuts,
abrasions and burns on your hands.
● Hold the product correctly and have both hands
available to be ready to balance out unusual or
sudden movements.
● Release the trigger lever in case of an interruption of
the energy supply.
● If possible, use a dust extraction system applicable for
the processed material. Dust and fumes from sanding
can cause explosive atmospheres.
● To prevent accidental start, make sure the trigger is in
the neutral position and disconnect the product from
the air supply when it is not in use.
● Make sure that the product has come to a complete
stop before you put it down after use.
