Cleaning and care

Isolate the extractor hood by pulling out-
the mains plug or switching off the fuse.
❑ When cleaning the grease filters, remove
grease deposits from the accessible side
of the housing.
This will prevent a fire hazard and willen-
sure optimum function.
❑ Clean the extractor hood with a hot soapy
solution or with a mild window cleaning
agent.
❑ Do not scratch off dried-on dirt, but wipe
off with a moist cloth.
❑ Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents
or scouring sponges.
❑ Note: Do not apply alcohol (spirit) to pla-
stic surfaces, as they may tarnish.
Caution! Provide adequate ventilation in
the kitchen. No naked flames.
Clean the switch only with a soft, moist
cloth (mild soapy solution).Do not clean
the switch with a stainless-steel cleaning
agent.
Stainless-steel surfaces:
❑ Use a mild, non-abrasive stainless-steel-
cleaning agent.
❑ Clean only in the direction of the ground-
surface.
Do not clean stainless-steel surfaces
with scouring sponges or with cleaning
agents containing sand, soda, acid or
chlorides!

Replacing the lamps

Warning! Prior to touching the light bulbs
ensure they are cooled down.
1. Switch off the extractor hood and isolate
the extractor hood by pulling out the
mains plug or switching off the fuse.
2. Remove the grease filter
(see Filters and maintenance).
3. Replace the lamp (commercially avail-
able candle lamps, max. 40 watts, E14
lampholder). Fig. 4.
4. Reconnect the power by inserting the
mains plug or by switching on the fuse.
