7.3 Timer function

The maremed comes with a timer function. You can use the timer function to set the
®
number of hours of operation after which the maremed
can set the timer to between 1 and 24 hours.
• To set the timer, press the TIMER button

The maremed will now automatically switch off after the set number of hours has

passed.
Note
If the timer function has been activated, you can also regulate the fan speed or activate
the sleep function while it is counting down.

7.4 Sleep function

The maremed comes with a sleep function. Once the sleep function has been switched

on, the touch display will switch off.
1. To switch on the sleep function, press the SLEEP button

Now it is only possible to press the SLEEP button
2. To switch o the sleep function, briefly press the SLEEP button
will start to light up again and all buttons can be pressed again.

The UVC lamp will stay on when the sleep function is active. If you want the light to go out
completely, you can also switch the UVC lamp off.
1. To switch o the UVC lamp, press and hold the SLEEP button
UVC lamp has been switched o , it is no longer possible to guarantee that 99% of bacte-
rial contamination will be eliminated.
2. To switch the UVC lamp on again, press and hold the SLEEP button
7.5 Refilling the water tank
The device switches off automatically after 72 hours. If the water level is at "MIN", the wa-
ter tank must be filled with fresh water and maremed® special sea salt.
Note
The device's consumption depends on the ambient temperature and humidity in the room.
Under normal conditions, the water level reaches "MIN" after approx. 72–96 hours. Ap-
prox. 1.5 litres of water will remain in the water tank.
To refill the water tank with water, proceed as follows:
1. Press the ON/OFF button
2. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
3. Remove the mains plug from the maremed
4. Remove the top housing cover.
5. Remove the evaporator block with the water filter.
6. Empty out the water from the tank to the side.
