Detection of AC voltage without contact
•
Firstly, use the NCV sensor on a known AC source to
verify its proper operation
•
The thickness of the cable
distance from the source may influence the operation
•
The NCV sensor is highly sensitive, so static
electricity caused by movement or other energy
sources can cause the red LED to randomly turn on.
This is a normal behavior of the instrument
