4.2. FUNCTION KEYS DESCRIPTION
H key
By pushing H key the parameter's measured value is frozen on the
display and the symbol "H" appears on it. Pushing H key another
time deactivates this mode
key
By pushing key it's possible to activate the backlight function on
the display. The function is available on each position of the rotary
selector
REL key
The REL key, active in all positions of the selector, allows to carry
out the relative measurement of the parameter considered. When
the REL key is pressed for the first time, the display value of the
quantity is stored as an offset for subsequent measurements and
the " " symbol is shown. The instrument then displays the relative
value obtained as the current value – offset. A second press of the
REL key allows the offset value to be displayed on the display with
the " " symbol flashing. Press the REL key for 2s or use the
selector to exit the function
PEAK key
When measuring AC currents and voltages, by pressing the PEAK

k the "P " symbol appears on the display and the instrument
MAX
shows the maximum peak value of the quantity, which is
automatically updated with each higher value measured. Press the
ey
PEAK k again to measure the minimum peak values of the
quantity with the "P " symbol shown on the display which
MIN
automatically updates with each lower value measured.

Press the PEAK k for approx. 2s or use the selector to exit the
ey
function. Press the PEAK k for approx. 3s. The "CAL" symbol is
shown for an instant on the display to indicate the resetting of the
peak value in the selected measurement range
MODE key
By pushing MODE key the selection of a double measured functions
which are present at display is possible. In particular this key is
active only in 
/ position to select among resistance test,
diode test and continuity test, in the V , 40A , 400A positions
for selecting AC or DC measurements and in the TypeK position for
selecting the °C or °F unit of measurement in temperature
measurement
