As long as the ConnectModule is supplied with voltage and
the relevant services are activated, it sends data to the re-
gistered account for the eBike.
The ConnectModule has an internal battery so that it can
provide the services independently of the eBike battery. The
internal battery's state of charge can be viewed via the eBike
Flow app. When the internal battery's state of charge is low,
the transmission intervals for the position are reduced. If the
state of charge continues to fall, a sufficiently charged eBike
battery should be inserted. When doing this, there should be
no chargers connected to the eBike.
Switching On Whilst eBike Alarm is Active
If you move your eBike whilst the <eBike Alarm> is active,
the alarm will not go off provided the predefined digital key
(smartphone or the Kiox 300/Kiox 500 display) is present.
To set off on your eBike, press the on/off button on the con-
trol unit.
For eBikes with assistance up to 45 km/h, you also need to
actively select a mode after turning it on.
Maintenance and servicing
Maintenance and Cleaning
The ConnectModule is maintenance-free. In the event of
damage or failure, contact a service centre directly.
If services are not functioning despite being activated, con-
tact the specialist dealer directly, from whom you purchased
the ConnectModule.
Note: If you are handing in your eBike to a service centre for
maintenance, it is recommended that you deactivate <Lock
& Alarm>.
Transport
As soon as you transport your eBike (e.g. in a vehicle trailer,
train, aeroplane, etc.), we recommend deactivating all indi-
vidual services or activating the <Transport mode> func-
tion. This also deactivates any ConnectModule communica-
tion. This will allow you to prevent false alarms.
