3.13 Mounting the guard yoke at the
front
It is essential to observe the sticker "Left".
Assemble guard yokes (D) and (E) with the add-
on parts from bag R (fig. 3-21).
Attention!
Observe the torque of the screw!
When fitting the „2 single swaths" option, install
the additional swathing cloth with support (K)
instead of deflector (E).
Unfold the rotors and align the swathing cloth using
shims „X" until cloth is in the centerline between
both rotors.

3.14 Mounting the drive train

3.14.1

Mounting the transfer gearbox

Fasten transfer gearbox (V) under the longitudi-
nal support using four screws (S). The retainer
for protecting tube (B) must also be screwed to
the front part of the gearbox (fig. 3-22). The shaft
end on the rear transfer gearbox is covered. Use
the content of bag S.
Attention!
When mounting the transfer gearbox
(V), the arrow must point in direction
of travel! Observe direction of
rotation!
3.14.2

Wide angle cardan shaft

Mount the one-sided wide angle cardan shaft (G)
with the wide angle joint to the machine. There is
only one position at which the fork-shaped piece
can be fastened to the intermediate shaft with bolt
(T) (fig. 3-23 and fig. 3-24).
Attention!
Make sure that the cardan shaft is
engaged properly!
