3.12 Mounting the protective yoke
and the adjusting crank
It is essential to observe the sticker "Left" and mount
retaining plate (X) accordingly. Use the content
of bag P.
Using a crane, bring the frame (R) up to the
Helipede Rotary Windrower and fasten it to the
head of the gearbox using the screws (S) (fig.
3-20).
Attention!
Please observe the torque of screws
(S)!
Pass crank (K) through frame (R) and the crank
guide on the bearing housing (D) and connect it
with rubber joint (G) using dowel pin (T). Rubber
joint (G) is pre-mounted to the gearbox of the
rotary unit. Mount crank lock (D).
First insert protective yoke (B) into the rear drilled
hole (X) of frame (R), push it to the very end and
then insert it into the front drilled hole. Fix protective
yoke (B) with spring (F) and the washers to frame
(R) using the split pins (fig. 3-21). Use the content
of bag Q.
When retrofitting a machine with the double swath
equipment, the left hand guard frame must be
shortened to dimension 1200 mm. Otherwise
there is a risk of the guard frame bottoming against
the swathing cloth (Fig. 3-20a).
