2.4. Speci昀椀cations
The automat is designed in accordance with
DIN EN 12828.
2.5. Safety devices
The automat does not contain any safety
components that prevent the operation
pressure and the operation temperature
range from being exceeded or falling below
any limits. Install components for limiting
pressure and temperature in the system.
Avoiding excessive pressure
2.5.1
Appropriate safety valves that prevent the
maximum operation pressure from being
exceeded:
• Do not open until the maximum allowable
working pressure is reached.
• Can conduct the occurring volume 昀氀ow
(including the maximum possible top-up
volume) up to the 1.1-fold of the maximum
operation pressure.
• Have a proven reliability or are certi昀椀ed.
Do not narrow the inlet or outlet piping of
the safety valve.
Avoiding excessive temperature
2.5.2
Appropriate safety components:
• Guarantee that the operating temperature
range is not exceeded at any point in the
system.
• Are approved and tested for operating safety.
Activate the pressure and temperature safety
devices and check them regularly for proper
working order.

2.6. Signs on the automat
The signs on the automat are part of the
safety provisions. Do not cover or remove
the signs. Check regularly to ensure that
the signs are present and legible. Replace or
repair signs that are illegible or damaged.
The following product information can be
found on the rating plate:
A Tagus Vac
B Automat serial number
C Permissible working overpressure
D Permissible working temperature
Do not use the automat if the speci昀椀cations
on the rating plate differ from the installation
and operating instructions.
