APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
This modification is available for all TDC operators.
For TDC7 operators, use #48 drive chain.
For TDC12 and TDC22 operators, use #41 drive chain.
FUNCTIONS
Provides stabilization of drive system on very wide (over 22')
standard lift sectional doors utilizing drawbar operators.
Greatly minimizes the risk of damage to the top section of the
door which might otherwise occur on very wide door driven by a
single, centered drawbar system.
PREPARATION
Unpack kit to verify the parts listed are included. Refer to
installation instructions as follows. This dual trolley modification
kit is provided with 2 door curved arms.
For Dual Trolley Applications, please use both of these Door
Curved Arms and discard the Door Curved Arm that is provided
with the Trolley Operator. Use of this matched set of Door Curved
Arms assures proper alignment and Dual Trolley performance of
the Door System.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Use the models TDC owner's manual for trolley installation,
where appropriate, with the following exceptions:
1. Disconnect power to operator.
2. The operator can be mounted to either track assembly so the
location of the operator must be decided before starting
(Figure 1).
DUAL TROLLEY MODIFICATION
For use with Models DUALAUXTROLLEY41
To prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH:
• ANY maintenance to the operator or in the area near the operator MUST
NOT be performed until disconnecting the electrical power and locking-
out the power. Upon completion of maintenance the area MUST be cleared
and secured, at that time the unit may be returned to service.
• Disconnect power at the fuse box BEFORE proceeding. Operator MUST
be properly grounded and connected in accordance with national and
local electrical codes. The operator should be on a separate fused line of
adequate capacity.
• ALL electrical connections MUST be made by a qualified individual.
