Take off and fl y
Take off and fl y
Before you begin please check:
WARNING: Only start with a suffi ciently full transmitter batteries (batteries-) and fully charged fl ight battery
– crash hazard!
• Check all parts for damage and dirt. Replace any damaged parts and clean the model, because dirt
increases the weight and therefore can degrade the fl ying qualities.
• Select the app and plug in the iBlast module on your device.
• Power up the App with the ON/OFF switch. The blue LED on the iBlast module lights.
WARNING: if the blue LED blinks, do not operate your model - crash hazard!
• Then switch the helicopter on. The red LED on the receiver board is fl ashing quickly. Place the helicopter
on start position, as soon as the red LED goes out, the helicopter is ready for take off.
• Note: when fl ying with more than on helicopter, select different channels for each helicopter (A, B, C)! The
channel must be selected before switching on the helicopter.
WARNING: the infrared transmitter of the iBlast module must always point in the direction of the
model - crash hazard!
• Check the motor and servo functions.
• If you fl y your helicopter for the fi rst time, the forward-backward speed is limited, so the helicopter fl ies
relatively slow. If you have never operated a radio controlled helicopter, this is the ideal setting to get used
to the control and the fl ight characteristics. By pressing the TURBO button (see Figure), this training mode
is switched off, the helicopter will fl y faster. Press again, the helicopter fl ies slower again. As a result, the
speed can be very easily adapted to the pilots skills.
• If the fl ight battery runs low, the motor speed is reduced and the helicopter sinks automatically. Find a
suitable place to land safely. Charge the fl ight battery again.

Motion control

if the motion control is active, the helicopter can be controlled by moving your smartphone or tablet. Note:
the motor still works with the throttle lever.
