GETTING STARTED
Before the first operation
Remove all the packaging material. Leave the appliance upright for at least 4 hours
before inserting the power cord into the socket. This reduces the possibility of
malfunction due to improper handling during transport. Clean the inner surfaces
with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
Before switching on
Make sure that the appliance is installed by a quali ed person in accordance
•
with the operating instructions.

After setting up the appliance, wait four hours before plugging it into the
power socket. This allows the refrigerant to be completely distributed in the
refrigerant circuit again.

Clean the outside of the appliance and the removable accessories with a mild
soap solution and water before rst use.
•
Clean the inside of the appliance with a solution of sodium bicarbonate and
water. Dry the inside of the appliance and the accessories properly after
cleaning.
You may notice a strange smell when switching on the appliance for the rst
•
time. This is normal and the smell disappears as soon as the appliance starts
to cool down.
During initial use
Note: When using the appliance for the rst time or when switching the
appliance on again after a long time, there may be a difference of a few degrees
between the temperature you have set and the temperature displayed on
the screen. This is normal. If the appliance has been on for a few hours, the
temperature will adjust.
When you switch on the appliance for the rst time, the unit's compressor
•
runs continuously until the appliance has cooled down.
•
The appliance door should be opened as seldom as possible during cooling.
•
If the appliance has been switched off or the power plug has been
disconnected from the mains socket, wait at least 5 minutes before switching
it on again or reconnecting the power plug to the mains socket.
