3.3 AFTER USING THE ANTENNA
If the antenna is no longer needed, proceed as follows:
1. Switch off the TV/receiver.
2. Fold up the LNB arm to attach it to the mirror with the Velcro tape.
3. Switch on the receiver/TV. The antenna will now fi rst move downwards and then to the top
point of the gear worm and stop. Please note that the aerial will only fi t into the existing
transport case in this position.
4. Fold in the feet (see point 2.2).
5. If necessary, turn the antenna unit parallel to the feet.
6. Put the antenna back into the transport case.
4. TROUBLESHOOTING
No satellite signal
Objects such as trees, bridges and large houses that are within the satellite's angle of incidence
will cause a loss of signal. If the satellite signal is lost due to severe weather conditions, the
running programme of the TV (receiver) will freeze the picture or disappear. When the weather
conditions allow good reception again, the TV picture will be restored.
Is there dirt on the antenna?
Heavy dirt on the dish can cause reception problems.
Is everything properly connected and switched on?
Make sure that the TV or receiver is properly connected and correctly set for satellite reception.
Are all the cables connected or has another person accidentally loosened the connections?
Satellite footprint
Satellites are positioned in fi xed positions above the equator in orbit. To receive the TV signals,
the reception location must be within the footprint. Use the diagram to check whether your
location is within the satellite's footprint. Reception interference may occur in the peripheral
areas of the footprint.
