3.1 CONNECTING THE COMPONENTS
Make sure that the coaxial cable is laid carefully to avoid short circuits and possible malfunc-
tions. We recommend using the coaxial cable supplied to connect the antenna to the receiver!
DVB-S input
(Satellite input)
An electronic brake has been developed that automatically releases the brake once the satellite
has been found. This means that the antenna cannot be twisted, e.g. by strong winds. When
the antenna search process is restarted, the brake is released electronically and the antenna can
be moved freely.
ATTENTION!
To avoid damage, always unlock the motor lock before switching on the TV set or
receiver! Even if the antenna is already aligned.

3.2 SATELLITE SEARCH AND RECEPTION ON TV
1. As soon as the antenna has been connected to the TV or receiver, switch it on to supply the
antenna with power. An additional power source is not required.
2. Select any channel (e.g. „Das Erste" on Astra 19.2° East). The antenna will then start se-
arching for the satellite.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure that a satellite channel list is available on your reception
device (TV or receiver) (Astra 19.2° East). Otherwise the search process of the antenna will
not be started!
3. The antenna now starts the calibration and defi nes the positions of the respective satellites.
This process takes a few minutes.
4. The antenna then aligns itself with the last selected satellite.
5. After a successful search, the selected programme is displayed.
6. If you want to change the satellite, you can now connect the remote control to the antenna.
To do this, press the two Bluetooth buttons simultaneously until the LED on the remote
control lights up. Note: If the LED fl ashes twice quickly, you are out of range (max. 10 met-
res) or the remote control is not connected to the antenna.
7. To select the desired satellite, press the respective key on the remote control. The antenna
will then align itself again.
8. Motor is automatically locked.
Note 1:
The antenna is programmed for the satellites Astra 1 (19.2° East).
Another satellite cannot be found!
Note 2:
After each restart of the antenna (as soon as the power supply has been interrup-
ted), the preset satellite is searched for again.
