the respective country-specific regulations must be observed,
which may prescribe shorter periods.
Irrespective of the max. lifetime, the shelf life depends on the
condition of the product, its frequency of use and the external
conditions of use. Every PPE loses durability in the course of its
lifetime. The lifetime is determined by use, thermal, chemical,
mechanical and harmful/aggressive influences.
10.) Inspection and maintenance
The manufacturer's product liability does not extend to property
damage or bodily injury that can occur even with proper function
and proper use of equipment. The manufacturer's extended
product liability does not apply in the event of modifications to the
equipment or failure to observe these instructions or the applicable
accident prevention regulations. The safety of the user depends on
the effectiveness and durability of the equipment. Check the
product for proper functioning before and after each use. Check the
complete equipment incl. all individual parts for damage due to
deformation, cracks, wear, other changes and for legibility of the
labelling. (The regular inspections may only be carried out by the
manufacturer or a trained specialist in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions. The inspection intervals depend on the
frequency of use and the external conditions of use (dust, heat,
etc.) If there is any doubt about safe use, the product must be
withdrawn from use immediately and inspected by a specialist. If it
is no longer usable, it must be disposed of. Webbing and ropes can
be cleaned with warm water (40°C) and mild soapy water. Then
rinse well with clear water. Equipment that has become wet must
only be allowed to dry naturally and kept away from direct heat.

Hand wash to max. 40°C.

Dry and store at room temperature.
•
Do not machine clean or dry, do not bleach.
•
Avoid contact with aggressive substances/chemicals.
•
Marking only permitted on product labels.
Please contact the manufacturer in case of any doubts. If faults are
found during the inspection, the product must be replaced.
11.) Storage and transport
Store the product in a dry place protected from direct sunlight.
Incorrect storage can have a negative effect on the lifetime of the
product! Transport the product/components in suitable containers,
protected from direct sunlight and stress, to prevent damage.
