max. Nominal load incl. equipment
The CONREST PRO+ rescue harness/stretcher has been
developed for emergency evacuation from confined spaces and
must not be used as a body-holding device in a fall arrest system.
The max. rated load must not exceed 150 kg. Take care to avoid
suspension trauma due to hanging for too long.
4.) How to put on the CONREST PRO+
•
Open all straps and click locks and put them aside (4.1).
•
Place the injured person on the CONREST PRO+ and close
the Velcro hip belt (4.2).
•
Pull the shoulder straps over the head and fasten the black
buckle with attachment point (4.3).
•
Close the orange click lock (4.4).
•
Close the click locks of the leg loops, observing the colours
(black, beige). Adjust the leg loops so that the legs are not cut
off (4.5).
•
Securely fasten the head using the Velcro straps (4.6).
•
Place the hands in the elastic loops to secure the arms (4.7).
The webbings should be adjusted so that two fingers fit between
the webbing and the person.
5.) Attachment of the rescue system
The attachment points in the head area 2.1 a and in the chest area
2.1 b can be used as independent attachment points during use.
(See 5.1 and 5.2 for application).
Note: Ensure that the rescue system is centred at the attachment
point in the head area (5.1)!
The CONREST PRO+ has 4 handholds (2.1 c), which are marked
with „bridles". These four handholds can be used in combination
with a carrying system (SKYLOTEC UltraBridles) as attachment
points. (For application see figure 5.3).
The CONREST PRO+ additionally has 4 orange loops (2.1 d),
which can also be used as attachment point with a carrying system
(SKYLOTEC UltraBridles). (See Figure 5.4 for application).
For horizontal and/or vertical positioning of the injured person, the
lower 2 orange loops can be connected with the attachment point
in the chest area using the Triangle Sling (Article No. SAN-9106).
(See Figure 5.5 for application).
This ensures safe transport of the injured person and there is no
risk of injury.
