Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it

from catching fi re.
Do not place any combustible materials (e.g. cardboard, plastic,

paper or candles) on or in the device.
In the event of a fi re: Do not put the fi re out using water! Smother
■
the fl ames with a fi reproof blanket or a suitable fi re extinguisher.
For your own safety, always check the device for damages prior
■
to using it. Only use the device if the device, mains cord and the
plug do not exhibit any damages!
Never leave the device unattended when it is switched on or
■
plugged in to the mains supply. Pull the mains plug in case of
longer breaks.
Do not make any modifi cations to the device. Also do not repla-
■
ce the mains cord yourself. Only have the device, cord and plug
repaired by a qualifi ed workshop. Contact customer service if ne-
cessary. Improper repairs could pose serious risks for the user.
Avoiding damage to materials, property and the device
Always set up the device with a clear space on all sides (at least
■
20 cm) and clear space above it (at least 30 cm) on a dry, fl at,
solid and heat-resistant surface.
Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip
■
hazard. The cable must not hang down from the surface on which
the device is placed in order to prevent the device from being
pulled down. Never pull on the mains cable to move the device.
Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squas-
■
hed or bent and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, strong tem-
■
perature fl uctuations, direct sunlight or moisture.
Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
■
Keep the device in a dry place at temperatures of between 0 and
■
40°C.
Use only the accessory parts supplied by the manufacturer.

Make sure that the drawer containing the basket insert is cor-
■
rectly inserted into the device before you switch on the device.
Insert the drawer into the device only with the basket insert
■
placed in it!
