Using the REMOTE 2 Connector

Pin function of the REMOTE 2 connector
The following is for qualified service personnel only.
You can turn the power on or off, and select the input source by using the
REMOTE 2 connector.

Each pin of the REMOTE 2 connector functions as follows:
• By short-circuiting the B1 – B8 with GND, the signal is selected. B1 –
B8 correspond to the 1 – 8 SELECT buttons respectively.
• By short-circuiting the P1 and P2 with GND, the power is turned on or
off. P1 and P2 correspond to the POWER ON and OFF buttons
respectively.
• SEL 1 - SEL 8 become high state (5 V) when the corresponding signal
among 1 – 8 is selected. Normally they are at low state (0 V).
• POWER ON becomes high state (5 V) when the power is turned on, and
becomes low state (0 V) when the power is turned off.
POWER OFF becomes low state (0 V) when the power is turned on, and
becomes high state (5 V) when the power is turned off.
• SELECT becomes low state (0 V) when a signal among 1 – 8 is selected,
and becomes high state (5 V) when no signal is selected.
