The filter system of the drain pump of the washer-dryer extends the life of the pump by
preventing lint from entering the machine. We recommend cleaning the filter of the drain
pump every 2 months.
The drain pump filter is located behind the access hatch in the lower right corner of the
front of the machine.
To clean the drain pump filter:
1. Use the powder detergent scoop (*) supplied with the machine or the graduated
ruler for liquid detergent to open the pump access hatch.
2. Insert the end of the powder detergent scoop or liquid detergent scale into the
opening of the access door and gently press back. The access hatch opens.

Pull the black rubber hose forward and detach it from its holder. Then place a
container underneath the hose and remove the cap.
4. Collect the machine's drain water with the container.
NOTE: Depending on the amount of water inside the machine, it may be neces-
sary to empty the container several times.
• Once the water has completely drained, replace the cap on the hose.
• Re-mount the hose on its support.

Loosen the filter access door by turning anti-clockwise, then pull the filter out.
6. Remove any foreign objects that may be present in the filter with a soft brush.

Once cleaned, replace the filter in its housing and screw clockwise.
• It is important to note that the filter may leak if it is not reassembled correctly.
8. Close the filter access hatch.
• Make sure that the fasteners engage properly.
