the red light stops flashing. Turn up the Master Volume until the music is loud enough. Stop the music and speak into the
microphone.
When the microphone is too loud: Turn the Mic In down one line at a time until the level is correct.
When the microphone is too soft: Turn the Master Volume up one line and turn the Aux In down one line. Try listening to
the microphone again.
If it is not possible to get the microphone or the CD loud enough: Turn all the knobs all the way down to the left and start the
instructions at this section again.

Adjusting the Tone Control

The PAS 100 has been optimized at the factory so that for most media and voices the Bass, Mid and Treble controls should
be set at their centre detent position. Turning up the Mid control and turning down the bass control can make voices easier
to understand. Turning up the Treble control can make the speaker sound brighter in a big room or outdoors.

Recording a Speech

The Line Out connection may be attached to an external recording device. The audio signal at this output is a mix of the
microphone and music player inputs. The level is not affected by the Master Volume control.

Using Two (or more) PAS 100 Speakers Together

The Line Out connection may be used to feed audio to a second PAS 100 speaker. Connect the Line Out of the main
speaker to the Aux In of the second speaker. Any audio of the first speaker will then be sent to the second speaker as well.
While listening to sound on the first speaker turn up the Input – Aux in knob of the second speaker until the red light starts
flashing. Turn the volume back down until the light stops flashing and then turn it down one line more. Turn up the Master
Volume of the second speaker until it is loud enough. The Line Out connection of the second speaker may be used to drive
the Aux In of a third speaker and so on.

Using the K+H CD Player

With the Power turned on, turn the Master Volume to the second line on the dial. Start playing the loudest music you have
and turn up the input knob for either the Upper or Lower Slot until the red Input Overload light begins to flash. Turn the Input
level back down until the light stops flashing and then turn it down one line more. Turn up the Master Volume until the sound
is loud enough.
