-
Turn the machine on using the switch (5).
-
Used the Process selection button (14) to select
MMA.
-
Adjust the welding current and parameters using the
multifunction control knob (see 3.1 no. 14).
Always remember to shut off the machine and
remove the electrode from the clamp after
welding.
3.3 TIG WELDING
-
This welding machine is a constant current power
source built using INVERTER technology, designed
for welding the following materials using the
TIG procedures, with contact starting and high
frequency: stainless steel, iron, copper.
-
Make sure that the supply voltage matches the
voltage of the welding machine.
-
Do not touch the torch simultaneously with the mass
terminal.
-
Connect the Tig welding torch to the Negative
output terminal (3).
-
Connect the TIG torch trigger switch to the
connector (2).
-
Connect the gas hose from the TIG torch to the gas
OUTLET (4) on the front of the power source.
-
Connect the mass cable connector to the Positive
output terminal (1) of the welding machine, and the
clamp to the workpiece as close as possible to the
welding point.
-
Fit the welding grade shielding gas regulator/
flowmeter to the shielding gas cylinder then connect
the shielding gas hose from the regulator/flowmeter
outlet gas INLET (7) on the rear of the power
source.
-
Turn the machine on using the power switch (5).
-
Press the selection button (19) to choose 2T or 4T
mode (corresponding led lights up).
-
Press the MODE button (9) to toggle AC and DC
output.
-
Press the HF button (21) to toggle high-frequency
ignition On and OFF.
-
Press the PULSE button (22) to toggle Pulse On
and OFF.
-
Press the torch trigger and set the gas flow.
-
Use a tungsten electrode suitable for welding
iron and stainless steel, f.e. a 2% cerium-covered
tungsten electrode, with a diameter of Ø 2,4 mm
(3/32").
-
Adjust the welding current using the multifunction
control knob (16).
-
Press FORWARD (15) or BACK (17) to cycle
through available programming functions. Use the
Multifunction Control Knob to adjust the parameter
selected (see 3.1 no. 18).
Remember to shut off the machine and close
the gas cylinder valve when you have finished
welding.

4. MAINTENANCE

ANY MAINTENANCE OPERATION MUST BE
CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL.
4.1 MAINTENANCE OF THE WELDING
INVERTER
In the case of maintenance inside the machine, make
sure that the switch (5) is in position "O" and
that the power cord is disconnected from the mains. It is
also necessary to periodically clean the
interior of the machine from the accumulated metal
dust, using compressed air.

4.2 PRECAUTIONS AFTER REPAIRS

After making repairs, take care to organize the wiring so
that there is secure insulation between the
primary and secondary sides of the machine. Do not
allow the wires to come into contact with moving
parts or those that heat up during operation.
Reassemble all clamps as they were on the original
machine, to prevent a connection from occurring
between the primary and secondary circuits should a
wire accidentally break or be disconnected. Also mount
the screws with geared washers as on the
original machine.
