1 • Introduction
Important! Read these instructions before installing the Cbase
Do not install this product in rooms where it can be exposed to
the following conditions:
• A greasy atmosphere
• Corrosive or flammable gasses, fluids or vapours
• Room temperatures above 40°C or lower than -5°C.
• Relative humidity higher than 90% or outside
• Obstacles that obstruct the access to or the removal of the ventilation unit
• Bends in the ventilation duct close by the ventilation unit
• The Cbase cannot be connected to a motorised cooker hood or dryer

Safety instructions:
A. All wiring has to be done by a qualified person.
B. Make sure that the electric power supply is 230V, 1 phase, 50Hz.
C. The ventilation unit can only be used with the appropriate RENSON
controller.
D. the installer needs to make sure that the ventilation unit is put at at least 600mm distance of a
chimney.
E. The ventilation unit is not to be used in areas where it may be exposed to water.
G. the exhaust of the ventilator always has to be directed outside.

- Taking off the lid without proper tools
- Removing the motor of the fan after removing the lid with proper tools
- Removing a ventilation duct or control valve while the system is operating.
