Use
• We recommend allowing the device to heat up for approx. 3 minutes before
using it.
• Only use the device on dry or towel-dried hair.
• For fi ne, smooth or brittle hair we recommend a low temperature level
(120-160°C), and for normal, thick or curly hair we recommend a higher
temperature level (160-200°C).
• If necessary, use a heat protection spray to protect your hair from the heat.
However, do not use any other styling products such as hair spray, gel or
mousse. They may stick to the brush.
1. Comb through the hair with a standard hair brush or comb to make sure there are no
knots in the hair.
2. Divide the hair up into sections. Move the straightening brush through the hair. Do not
hold the device in one spot for too long; this can damage the hair! Make sure that you
do not touch your scalp with the device!
3. Repeat the process until you are satisfi ed with the result.
The thicker the hair, the more frequently you should comb through your hair to get
the result you want.

CAUTION!
■ The device has an automatic switch-off function. If the device is switched on for
60 minutes without interruption, it switches off automatically.
• If you want to continue using the device after it has automatically switched off,
hold down the On/Off switch (4) until a temperature is again displayed on the LCD
display (2) and adjust the temperature using the temperature selection buttons (3).

Care and Storage

CAUTION!
■ Switch the device off after use and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket. Keep
the device, the mains cable and the mains plug away from water or other liquids.
■
Do not wrap the mains cable around the device!
■ Do not hang up the device by the mains cable.
■ Caution: Danger of fi re! Do not place the device down on combustible surfaces.
■ Never rinse the device with water and never immerse it in water or other liquids.
■ Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These could damage the surfaces.
1. Switch the device off and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.
2. Allow the device to cool down completely.
3. Remove hair, fl uff or dust from the brush.
