1 Operating Elements
and Connections
1 Control INPUT LEVEL to match the input
level
2 Overload LED CLIP; if the LED lights up, turn
back the control INPUT LEVEL (1) accord-
ingly
3 Button PROCESS to activate / deactivate the
feedback elimination
4 Control OUTPUT LEVEL to adjust the output
level
5 Button MONO / STEREO
Button disengaged: stereo mode
Button engaged: mono mode
Only the input signal of the jack INPUT
LEFT/ MONO (13) is processed and then
fed to the two jacks OUTPUT (12).
6 Button HOLD FILTERS to switch between
Update mode and Hold mode
LED off: Update mode
If all available notch filters for feedback
elimination have been set automatically
and additional new feedback frequencies
occur, the filters set previously will be
reassigned to the new feedback frequen-
cies.
LED on: Hold mode
If all filters for feedback elimination have
been set, they will be locked to the fre-
quencies found. No filters will be available
for additional new feedback frequencies.
7 Control SENSITIVITY for the sensitivity of
feedback detection (15 steps)
In the upper position (BYPASS), all notch fil-
ters are reset and deactivated.
8 Button AUTO / FIXED ATTENUATION
to switch between fixed attenuation and vari-
able attenuation
LED off: fixed attenuation
The notch filters have been set to an
attenuation of 30 dB.
LED on: variable attenuation
As long as no feedback occurs, the atten-
uation of the notch filters already set is
automatically reduced in steps of 2 dB.

11 Jack to connect the power supply unit pro-
vided
12 Signal outputs (6.3 mm jack, unbal.) to con-
nect the inputs of the subsequent audio unit
13 Signal inputs (6.3 mm jack, unbal.) to con-
nect the signal source (audio unit with line
output)

2 Safety Notes

The units (feedback eliminator and power sup-
ply unit) correspond to all relevant directives of
the EU and are therefore marked with
WARNING The power supply unit uses dan-
gerous mains voltage. Leave ser -
vicing to skilled personnel only.
Inexpert handling may result in
electric shock
Please observe the following items in any case:

The units are suitable for indoor use only. Pro-
tect them against dripping water and splash
water, high air humidity and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

Disconnect the power supply unit from the
socket immediately
1. if one of the units is visibly damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after a unit
was dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the units must be repaired by
skilled personnel.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never
use water or chemicals.
G
No guarantee claims for the units and no lia-
bility for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if the units
are used for other purposes than originally
intended, if they are not correctly connected
or operated, or if they are not repaired in an
expert way.
If the units are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recy-
cling plant for a disposal which is not
harmful to the environment.
