5.1 Sliding shoes and guides

WARNING
Check sliding shoes regularly. Never use the jack
without sliding shoes or with worn sliding shoes.
NOTE
It is imperative that guides be greased regularly since
strong frictional forces act there. Use commercially
available high-performance bearing grease.

> Pull off the bracket (1) and remove the toe (2).
> Pump up slide (6) with pump lever (3) until
screw (4) is exposed.
> Screw out the screw (4).
> Pull out the slide (6).
> Clean and grease guides (5).
> Oil all bolts.

> Remove sliding shoes (7), clean and replace if
necessary.
> Assembly is done in the opposite order.
