The installation is described in pictures. The installation is illustrated based on an exemplary situation (a
larder unit with 3 keyed alike doors or locks).
The mounting position and the individual connection of the product components must be adjusted to the
customer-specific conditions.

Depending on the customer's specifications / application version, select the proper wiring diagram.
See illustrations starting on page 22 for the wiring diagrams.

Perform the installation according to the installation instructions.

Adjust the installation steps to the customer-specific situation with the aid of the wiring diagrams.

Direct connection of EFL 3 or MLA 6 and EFL 3. Switches simultaneously with power output.
Direct connection of FLC / FLC-C, EFL 6, SDL or DFT relay box. Switches simultaneously with output
EFL 3 / MLA 6.
Port for the antenna DFANT 2 with 2-colour LED. The LED displays the same operating conditions as the
LED in the DFT V2.
Connecting lead with AMP Mate 'N lock plug for 12 V DC power supply.
Connection of MLA 8. An MLA 8 / MLA 8R can be connected for up to 8 EFL 3 locks with different key
changes, or other elements (MLA 8R). Up to 16 MLA 8 / MLA 8R can be connected for up to 128 keyed
alike locks (EFL 3) or other elements (MLA8R).
Terminal 1, 2
External LED. Connection for an external LED. A two-pin bi-directional LED must be used (red in one
direction, green in the other direction).
This LED shows the same status as the LED in the device and in the external antenna.
Terminal 3, 4:
Operating mode. If a jumper is placed here, the DFT V2 operates in the operating mode "latch bolt lock"
after the initial start-up or after a reset. If a jumper is not placed, the DFT V2 operates in the operating
mode "dead bolt lock" after the initial start-up or after a reset.
