PROPER USE

Your FELCO Power Blade Series® electric pruning shears are a
professional tool that is to be used exclusively for pruning trees,
bushes, shrubs and vines. They will greatly facilitate your pruning
operations in arboriculture and for the maintenance of parks,
gardens, forests and vineyards. The cutting capacity of your
pruning shears is defined in its user guide.

INITIAL USE

Remove the FELCO Power Pack 882 (01) from the case 05
CAUTION
When first putting into service, make sure that the battery 02 is
sufficiently charged (please refer to the battery manual); otherwise the
pruning shears 06 will not work.
As the battery 02 has been automatically put into Storage mode, the
first step is to connect the battery 02 to the charger 04. To do so,
proceed as follows:
1. Connect the battery 02 to the charger 04
2. Connect the power cord 04b adapted to your supply system to
the charger 04.
3. Connect the charger 04 to the power system. The voltage of
the current source must match that stated on the nameplate of
the charger. The supply voltage must be between 100 and
240 V.
4. The indicator light 04a on the charger 04 will turn red.
5. As soon as the battery 02 is fully charged, the indicator light
turns green.
6. Disconnect the charger 04 from the power system.
7. Disconnect the battery 02 from the charger 04.
8. Check that the On/Off switch 01e is set to Off.
9. Plug the plug of the battery 02 into the corresponding socket
on the control unit 01b.
10. Connect the plug of the pruning shears cable 01d to the pruning
shears 06.
CONNECTIONS
The FELCO Power Pack 882 is equipped with a Bluetooth Low
Energy (BLE) system offering extended features through the use of
the FELCO app. The FELCO app can be downloaded free of charge
from the App Store and Google Play.
Please follow the instructions in the app for the first connection to the
Power Pack 882.
CAUTION
Waves emitted by Bluetooth® communication may disrupt the working
of certain devices and systems as well as aircraft and medical devices
(e. g. pacemakers, hearing aids). The waves emitted can also have a
harmful effect on people and animals in the immediate vicinity of the

tool. Do not use the power tool near medical devices, petrol stations
or chemical plants and when you are in areas with explosion risks or
in blasting areas. Do not use the power tool in aircraft. The Bluetooth®

USE
1. Take the FELCO Power Pack 882 (01). This carrying system
offers many carrying possibilities. The list below shows the
most commonly used possibilities:
a. Harness
b. Backpack
c. On the FELCO belt
d. Other belt
e. Transport pocket

Take the pruning shears 06 in your hand (please refer to the
operating instructions of the pruning shears)

2. Pull the trigger once and the blade will open (blade opening
and closing is proportional with the trigger movement). When
the pruning shears 06 are put into operation, they emit sound
signals. Their meanings are provided in the section: "AUDIBLE
NOTIFICATIONS" in this user manual.
3. To shut down your pruning shears 06, close the blade with the
trigger, hold it closed, and set the switch 01e to the off position.
