• Do not step or stand on the scale when your body and/or feet are wet, for example after taking
a bath or shower. There is a danger of slipping.
• Do not step on the scale when its surface is wet. There is a danger of slipping.
• Do not use the unit on slippery surfaces such as wet floors. There is a danger of slipping.
• Always consult your physician to determine what will be suitable for you.
• Make sure that you enter the desired unit of mass regarding the weight results.
• People with disabilities, such as impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions,
or who are physically frail, should be assisted by another person when using this scale.
• Do not step on the scale if you weigh more than 400 lb (181.4kg / 28.5st). When in doubt contact
your physician.
• Do not use this product for any purpose other than weighing human beings.
• Place the scale on level flooring, otherwise it may tip.
• If the glass platform is damaged, there could be risk of danger or injuries caused by broken glass.
CAUTION
• This unit is intended for home use only. It is not intended for professional use in hospitals or
other medical facilities. This unit does not support the standards required for professional use.
• Please note that technically related measuring tolerances are possible, as the scale is not cali-
brated for professional medical applications.
• Carefully step on the scale surface. Pay attention to avoid stepping with your toes under the scale
surface. This might lead to injuries.
• Do not disassemble this unit. You could get injured.
• Do not put your fingers in any slot, inside or under the scale.
• Keep scale away from moisture, dust, chemicals, toiletries, liquid cosmetics, extreme hot and
cold temperatures, and sources of heat (e.g. open flame, radiators).
• Prevent impact with hard objects.
• This product does not and is not intended to provide a medical diagnosis. For medical advice,

• Consult your physician or healthcare provider before beginning a weight reduction or exercise

NOTICE
• Do not weigh more than one person on the scale at one time. This may damage the unit.
• Do not use mobile phones, microwave ovens or other devices which generate magnetic or large
electromagnetic fields near the scale. This could cause the scale to malfunction.
• To avoid draining the battery do not place any items on the scale (Please make sure that there is
no weight on the feet of the scale) when not in use.

2. Battery Handling and Usage

• Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
• Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries. Reversed batteries may cause damage
to the device.
• Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon-zinc or rechargeable batteries)
or old batteries with fresh ones. Always replace batteries as a simultaneous set.
• If the batteries in the device are depleted or the device will not be used for a long period of time, remove
the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
• Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat and rupture (follow bat-
tery manufacturer's directions.)
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak.
• Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
• Remove discharged batteries from the product and dispose/recycle in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Keep batteries away from children and pets. Batteries may be harmful if swallowed. Should a child or pet
swallow a battery, seek medical assistance immediately.
