Preparing Your Phone Before Use
This phone contains the following special functions:

1. Language Selection

2. Time, Date & Contrast Setting
3. Area & Long Distance Code Setting
1.
Language Selection
The unit supports multi-languages, including English (1&2), Czech, Slovak,Turkish, Austral,
Danish, German, Dutch, Finnish, French, Greek, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish and Swedish.
In the state of On-hook, do as follows:
– Press and hold
(DELETE) button.
– While keeping on pressing
button.
– Continuous to keep
(DELETE) and
together, press
button until current language setting shown on display.
– Use
and
buttons to select the language.
– Press
(CALL BACK) button to confirm and exit.
Note : In order to achieve the best performance of this Caller ID Phone, you must require
to switch to the relevant language to use the local service network perfectly. If not, part of
the service cannot be performed.

Time, Date & Contrast Setting
– Press and hold
(SET) button until the display shows "
– Use

buttons to select the correct number.
– Press
(CALL BACK) button to confirm and move to the next digit.
– Press the
(SET) button again, the LCD contrast can be adjusted and

" will appear on the display.
– Use

buttons to select desired level (HI/LO).
– Press
(SET) button to exit.
NOTE: 1. When you receive the first incoming call, time and date will be automatically set if you have
FSK Caller ID service.
2. The setting sequence is "HOUR-MINUTE-MONTH-DAY-YEAR-WEEKDAY". The weekday
is shown by number in the left side of the display, where 1=Monday, 2=Tuesday, etc...
After completion, the display will show "TOTAL CALLS XX" and the name of the day.

Area & Long Distance Code Setting
ONLY applicable under "English 1", "English 2", "Greek", "Austral","Czech","Slovak" and
"Turkish" language setting and in on-hook state.
In order to dial from your call records, the phone needs to distinguish between local and
long distance calls. You need to program your area code.
– Press and hold down
(DELETE) button.
– While pressing
(DELETE) button, press

". You can enter the "Area Code" accordingly.
– Use

buttons to select the correct number.
– Press
(CALL BACK) button to confirm and move to the next digit.
– When the "Area Code" setting is completed, press
