Inserting batteries/battery replacement
Insert the provided battery (9V/6LR61) in the in the battery com-
partment B . Make sure the polarity (+/-) of the battery is correct.
Open battery compartment
Remove dead battery
Insert new battery
Close battery compartment
The remote control is ready for operation when the battery has
been inserted and the battery compartment has been closed again.
Teach-in procedure
The remote control VFF/CDM-F15-VRT-RGB can be used with
drive V-MAT- BASIC-RF-CBI. In order to establish communication
between the remote control and the drive, a teach-in procedure is
required.
Have the drives related to the system as well as the relevant
Operating Instructions at hand. You need both to perform
the teach-in procedure!
Please read the Section regarding the teach-in procedure in
the drive Operating Instructions first.
Teaching-in a VMAT-BASIC-RF drive
- Reset the remote control to the default settings first by holding
down the buttons
control LED starts flashing.
Keep the buttons pressed
until the radio control LED lights
permanently, i.e. is not flashing
any more.
- Activate the teach-in button on
the drive for approximately one
second.
- Now press the buttons

down, until the drive con-
firms the teaching-in by a short
motor start-up.
The drive may now be used.
If the teach-in procedure is
not confirmed by the drive
within 15 seconds, stop the
teach-in procedure and start
again.
If the teach-in procedure
can still no be completed,
reset the drive to the default

settings and repeat the
teach-in procedure.
Teaching-in a second drive
(optional)
The VFF/CDM-F15-VRT-RGB allows for teaching-in and operating
up to two drives at a time. After teaching in the first drive, the follow-
ing steps are to be performed:
- Activate the teach-in button on the second drive for approxima-
tely one second.
- Now press the buttons
the teaching-in by a short motor start-up.
Teach in the drive to which massage and light commands
are to be sent first.
