Operating principles

The intelligent ecoSMART energy management system regulates the electicity flow between the heat pump and production
systems efficiently. The control is capable of adjusting the consumption of the heat pump to the production in each moment, as
long as comfort, set in the heat pump, is not compromised. In this way, we are able to significantly reduce our dependence on the
electric grid to energize the pump, which is an improvement in the overall efficiency of the installation and important saving on
your energy bill.
Energy produced by
renewable sources
The own software that integrates the control of the ecoSMART e-manager lets us choose from a number of features to maximize
the efficiency of our installation.
Regulation of energy surplus
The ecoSMART system is capable to determine when a energy surplus situation occurs. In that case, and under configurable settings
that determine when to start and stop the regulation, the controller adjusts the consumption of the heat pump taking advantage of
the surplus of electricity to accumulate thermal energy, so this is obtained with lower electricity consumption and released when
the production of energy of renewable sources falls.
Consumption control by power regulation
When the electrical consumption of your installation approximates a maximum value configurable by the installer, the heat pump
can limit its own consumption to keep the total consumption below the limit.
Tariff control by schedule
We can define up to four time bands for each day of the week setting peak and/or valley times for winter and summer. During
these hours we can change the setpoints of the different heat pump, this way you can decrease the electricity consumption when
the electricity is more expensive and take advantage when the electricity is cheaper to produce thermal energy.
Control of non-critical loads
We are able to program the connection and disconnection of up to four non-critical loads by enabling four output relays powered
at 230V, setting a number of parameters associated with the energy balance between electricity supply and consumption.
