Preparations

The appliance must be equipped with
different attachments depending on the
intended application.
1. First mount the drive sprocket (22) on
the screw (20) as shown in the illus-
tration on the fold out page at the left.
ATTENTION
The appliance can become too hot if the
ring nut is screwed on too tightly.
► Always screw the ring nut fully to the
stop and then loosen it again by one
quarter turn.

Operation and controls

ATTENTION
► Allow the appliance to cool down and
then when processing for longer
periods of time to avoid overheating.
Use as a meat grinder (Figure A)
1. Unplug the mains plug from the socket.
2. Place the screw (20) into the attach-
ment body (21).
3. Place the mincing knife (19) onto the
square drive of the screw with the
blades facing outwards.
Function
Releases the attachment body for dismantling.
Switches the appliance on or off.
Reverses the direction of the motor.
If the attachment body cannot be separated from the
housing after operation, press the reversing button for
2-3 seconds to loosen stuck foods.
Indicates that the appliance is operating.
4. Place the desired screen (15, 16 or
17) onto the screw. The notch in the
screen must be positioned over the
guide lug of the attachment body.
5. Screw the ring nut (18) onto the at-
tachment body.
6. Place the assembled attachment body
into the holding fixture (3).
7. Turn the attachment body anti-clock-
wise until it can be heard as it clicks
into place (Figure E1).
8. Place the hopper (2) onto the attach-
ment body.

Proceed as follows:
1. Switch the appliance off.
2. Operate the reversing button for about
2-3 seconds. This enables the screw
to free itself and you can easily re-
move the attachment body.
If you wish to make very fine minced
meat, you may put the meat through
the appliance several times. To
do this, first select a screen with a
coarse or large holes, then a screen
with smaller holes.
You can also mince other ingredients
(e.g. onions) along with the meat.
